# Can I change the date format displayed on posts and threads?

I find the US date format used on the boards confusing: MM-DD-YYYY.

Is there a way I can customize it, so on my computer it shows as vB to DD-MM-YYYY, just like I can customize the time to show my local time?

I don’t think so. The only options for time display under the User Control Panel are the time zone, daylight savings time, and the day of the week.

For those wondering where these settings are, you can get to them by clicking UserCP on the upper left for your user control panel, then clicking on Edit Options on the left.
