# Can I control a android TV over a PC?

It takes almost a entire minute for me to write a 2, 3 word sentence using my smart TV’s remote, so browsing internet over it is almost useless, an alternative to the remote is to do it over a smartphone (remote tv app’s), but that is barely any better with the apps that work with my tv, since I don’t have a mainstream brand.

So, is there a program or something for a PC over which I can control the smart TV? Another alternative would be to buy a usb keyboard and mouse for the TV, but maybe I don’t need to.

I don’t know of a PC solution but I have a cheap Bluetooth keyboard I use for my TV and it works fine. Certainly better that the hunt & peck remote option and I haven’t gotten used to talking to my remote yet.
