If I wanted to encase something in lucite or some other acrylic, how hard is it to get the components to make the acrylic and a mold to pour it in? Are there any kits available for the do-it-yourself-er?

[Dick Blick](http://www.dickblick.com/stores/) sells the casting materials you’d need. I’m sure many other art supply stores do as well.
In my hands, it’s pretty easy.
