I have an image on my phone which would’ve been relevant to a thread I was just reading. Unfortunately, when I tried to upload it, I was told I couldn’t post images. Is that because I’m new, or is it a settings thing that can be changed? Thanks. ---

It doesn’t allow anyone to post images directly. You have to upload them to another site and then link to them. Put the link on a line by itself and it will display it. ---

Some images you find on the Internet can be displayed, others can’t. Let me do a test here too: [![](https://paintingvalley.com/images/fishing-boat-painting-15.jpg) ](https://paintingvalley.com/images/fishing-boat-painting-15.jpg) ---
