# Can I post/embed images on the board?

I was wondering if it’s possible to attach an image directly from my computer and/or embed it from a website?

Nope. Pick an image hosting site and link from there.

TPTB had a traumatic experience with goatse, so never again will images be allowed in posts. (They banned the OP of this thread just for bringing back the memory of those images!)

But for anyone who wants them [there is a userscript](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=617007) to display inline images on the SDMB.
