# Can I Send Email to a Fax?

Minus the fax software (or desktop application that I know can print to a fax), can I send an email direct to a fax? If not, what FREE options are there that may help me accomplish this? My need for faxing has severely dropped off, so I forget how I used to do this.

The more popular way to do it now is just through a website, like [FaxZero](http://faxzero.com/). The ad they mention is really more like FaxZero branding, I believe. I wish Internet ads were that unobtrusive.
