# Can I Still "Shield" a Spoiler Alert?

Can I still black out and hide a spoiler? I forget how to do it, and I do not see any obvious options to create (or shield) a spoiler.

If you don’t want a spoiler box you could make the font white and people could read it by highlighting it.

The tag is called [noparse][spoiler][/noparse]. It works like this:

At the end of _Titanic_,

The ship sinks

Just to be clear, you’re referencing the 1997 James Cameron film, correct?
