The computer/LAN tech on my submarine was by far the best LAN technician on the waterfront – every other sub had constant computer network problems besides us, and it was because our guy (who happened to be gay) stayed late several times a week while in port to do maintenance, backups, and diagnostics to keep our network operating smoothly. Kicking him out of the Navy would have made the US Navy weaker, even if only by a small amount. And there are many, many more like him. ---

I understand that. I think what upsets them is the protests, the articles and the Marxist activists joining the Black Lives Matter movement. It’s troubling to them.
