# Can Reno come close to approximating a Vegas Strip vacation?

I live in Reno and I am glad it is nothing like Las Vegas. Las Vegas is all artificial, while Reno is real. I don’t think your wife would like it, but it is a much nicer place to live than Las Vegas.

There’s more to Las Vegas than Strip resorts, you know. There are a lot of lovely communities there. I’m actually seriously considering moving to Nevada when I retire (which will be quite a while yet; I’m not _that_ old.) I really love the Vegas metro area.

Yes, but the question was dealing with a Strip-like vacation. That takes Reno out of the picture completely, and makes the rest of Las Vegas irrelevant.

That said, I’m in complete agreement with the above.
