# Can someone here with Visual Basic do me a favor?

Can you please go to

It will say:
“This file is hosted by Angelfire.
Please click on
/me/gold1000/cabbie.zip
to download this file.”
Click the file, download it, unzip it, then create an EXE file from the 3 files provided, zip the files back up (including the EXE) and email it to:

Thankyou ever so much for the person who does this. I would do it myself, but I only have the student version of VB and it doesn’t allow you to create an EXE file with it.

This thread was temporarily closed for a couple reasons.
First, I suspected it was a request for help from the TM’s with MadHatter’s homework. The SDMB does not condone posts of that nature. Posts requesting advice on essay topics or asking for research resources are acceptable, as are other homework inquiries of that nature. We do not, however, allow posts by members asking for their work to be completed for them. I will delete posts like that with alacrity.
Secondly, the e-mail address MadHatter requested replies be sent to, is one associated with a known troll, namely **dippymonger** , who had at least a dozen other names, all since banned. MadHatter assures me that the yahoo! address is a shared one; dippymonger is his brother.
Since these appear to be reasonable explanations to us, I’m re-opening this thread. However, a word of advice to any of you inclined to help out MadHatter. This program he’s written is the result of an inquiry in a GQ thread; I suggest you read that thread, [found here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=43848), note MadHatter’s behavior, and decide for yourselves if he deserves your help. It’s my opinion he does not.

Uhh… yeah… thanks.
Why don’t you just go right ahead and burn this thread now? Hooray - you re-opened it, only to give me an absolute caining by reccommending no one helps me.
For those who DO check the link provided in the above post, my comments are light-hearted.

UncleBeer, I see that you have failed to show what I wrote IMMDEITAELY AFTER that statement.

Madhatter, please read the post by Twistoffate one more time. UncleBeer is an outstanding moderator and is merely doing the moderator duties. The members read your posts and make their own decisions about you, your posts mold their opinions of you. UncleBeer does not mold their opinions of you.
