I know how to do field plots in Mathcad and Maple, but I need to do a very simple one by hand. I just realized I have never done one by hand. I looked thru all my math books (alg-DE) and it is detailed no where. I am sure it is very easy, but I just cant remember how.

**v** =-x **x** -y **y**

Its a very simple equation. I just need the basic method for starting a hand drawn field plot.
