Can Tea make you Fat?

I’ve been told also that Splenda is no good for diabetics. I was told this by a little chef employee, who was quite proud that they’d just replaced all the candarel with it.

So I instantly demanded their manager and berated them for using sweetner that wasn’t clearly labelled as being inappropriate for diabetics. I mean, how stupid is that? My dad had already taken some. (Obviously, he’s diabetic.) The manager didn’t understand, but that’s the Little Chef for you.

And I have been reducing the sugar, plain_jane - you’re quite right, you can certainly get by once you get used to it. I can’t tolerate the thought of two anymore - now it’s either one or one and a quarter. My sister did the same about my age.

I have yet to find any straight dope about the effect of caffeine on the liver. So far, just unsubstantiated innuendo. So, Buttonjockey308, got a cite?

Not to mention that sugar has no fat in it.

I’ve noticed in a lot of those diet pills they put in green tea extract? Is green tea supposed to be an appetite supressant?
