The [LattePanda](http://www.lattepanda.com/products/) is a complete single board ‘desktop’ computer the size of a wallet, it’s runs it’s own copy of Windows 10 and cost between $100 and $135 depending on which of the two models you purchase.

I’m not tech savvy, but would like to purchase this for a gift if it can also run Firaxis’ [Civilization IV](https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C9BKJA_enUS671US671&hl=en-US&ei=qrVIWOTQD8bUjwPzj5ngDQ&q=civilization+vi+requirements&oq=civilization+vi+requirements&gs_l=mobile-gws-serp.3..0l2j0i22i30k1.55225.58287.0.58465.13.13.0.1.1.0.144.1619.0j13.13.0....0...1c..64.mobile-gws-serp..0.13.1528...0i67k1.Zia5h82X9aY#imgrc=qsiEJ8dPYVaJ9M%3A)

Can it?

Civ 4, probably (you had a typo, I think).

Civ 6, probably not. Those CPUs can barely run Civ 5.

The Atoms are Intel’s lowest CPU class.

But you can gift them a copy of FreeCiv: [http://www.freeciv.org/](http://www.freeciv.org/)

Atoms are slow as hell.

**Moderator Action**

Let’s move this to the Game Room (from GQ) since that’s where the gamers who know about system requirements tend to hang out.

Something is not right here. Windows 10 Home costs $90 OEM. Yet they are claiming that the $119 LattePanda includes “pre-activated full edition of Windows 10”.

> **[LattePanda V1 - The Smallest Windows 10 Single Board Computer with Win10 Home...](https://www.dfrobot.com/product-1405.html)**
>
> LattePanda V1 a pocket-sized embedded X86 SBC based on Intel Cherry Trail Z8350. Integrated onboard Arduino co-processor. Support Windows 10 & Linux OS. This model contain Win10 Home License (2GB/32GB).

Either this is pirated windows or it’s not really “full” windows. I suspect they are actually including the free Windows 10 IoT Core.

But actually the CPU on this is not that slow. Here’s a youtube of someone running FarCry on a tablet with the same processor.
