Oh dear. Now I’m put in mind of a particular passage in Henry Miller I read when I was 15. And realized…or rationlized that she was really awake at the time and was the only way she’d let herself enjoy it. Rather nasty bit, he compared her to a cow, but in my warped mind it kind of turned me on. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread. ---

And just in case there’s any confusion, the anal-rape guy is Hager (Bush Administration appointee to the Advisory Committee for Reproductive Health Drugs in the FDA, instrumental to blocking over-the-shelf Plan B), not Keroack (recently appointed to Family Planning job). ---

[/QUOTE] It’s worth noting that it wasn’t JUST when she was asleep. She developed narcolepsy some time during their marriage, but the rape and abuse took place when she was wide awake as well. ---
