That makes a lot of sense–I was thinking that they’d be more along the lines of reopening a pre-election thread with speculation about Obama’s Middle East policy with updates on what he’s actually done (for example).

I have banned sethness – a decision that is not irreversible.
He has disabled PMs here and is not allowing incoming emails at the address he gave when he registered, making it impossible for the staff here to communicate with him. I was hoping we could have a discussion with him so we could figure out if he was trolling, spamming, or just overenthusiastic about the undeniable delights of the SDMB – but he has made that impossible. Remaining incommunicado is verboten (to coin a phrase).
