Mexico being too poor to arm it’s juvenile deliquents with guns is not the US’s fault. Hell the Mexican President is claiming the US is bringing in a lot of guns to Mexico illegally and that it is becoming a big problem for Mexico. Well what did you guys do with all those guns we gave you?

I am pretty sure this is a fight you don’t want to pick. To be clear, I would hate for things to go in this direction (armed standoffs and such), but if they do, I am pretty confident who prevails and it ain’t your team Pedro.

Mexican officials are pissed off because you are supposed to bribe them if you want free rein to shoot people. This could be a serious blow to the Mexican GDP.

I rather suspect right here in my home town that kids throwing rocks at the police might very well be shot as well, even if they were “Wonder Bread-white” Walt and Beaver Cleaver-types.

Considering the area, this would be more like throwing rocks at Iraqi police officers in a small town in Southern Iraq, just after the latest rocket attack or attempted ambush. And the OP, being from Mexico should KNOW this.

That is true but there is only so much one can take. If all of a sudden you have 100 dead gringos on your hands maybe assholes like the Border patrol would think twice before killing people.
A lot of the reactions so far have been what I expected. The victim is vilified in the US press and all the little flag waving guppies just eat that shit up. They attack the victim although there is absolutely no proof he was involved in anything. Lonesome Polecat is especially scum.

Oh yeah.
“Gringos” getting killed by mexicans is going to make the agents LESS likely to use deadly force to defend themselves :rolleyes:
With logic like that no wonder Mexico is a shit hole people risk life and limb to escape from, even though the country they flee to is where they will be on the very bottom of the socio economic ladder.

Yeah I guess that was a bad place for him to set up his combination lemonade & “I love the U.S.A.” bumper sticker stand. Poor kid. It’s really too bad someone didn’t warn him about those crazy asshole Americans that randomly shot people in that area. One of thos murderous drug lords should have warned him.
I just can’t believe such violence could take place in such a nice place like Juarez. We were considering moving there to raise our children (because ya know, such good schools and all). But now, well, we will have to reconsider that. :smack:

Deciding whether to throw rocks at an armed and possibly nervous cop is an intelligence test and this guy failed.
Maybe they allow this in Mexico? If not, then why the hell did he decide it was OK to throw them at an armed border patrol agent? Truly a Darwin Award candidate.
