I’m going to have a Bad Movie Nite with my (female) friend on the fifth of August. Ze plan is we rent laughably bad movies and then make fun of them. So far Army of Darkness and Battlefield: Earth are on my list. Reccomendations would be appreciated. ---

Well, Battlefield Earth is going to be the hit of the night. I’d also recommend **Plan Nine from Outer Space** , which was considered the worst movie ever until Battlefiel Earth came along to contend. **Manos, the Hands of Fate** You might only be able to get the MST3k version of this, but it’s better with them anyway. ---

I heartily recommend [Ilsa - She wolf of the SS](http://us.imdb.com/Title?0071650), which is absurdly bad, semi porn. The toxic avenger has some ‘camp’ qualities, but Ilsa is just so dreadful, you’ll forget eating your popcorn. ---

**Flesh Feast**. Oh man, you’d love this. First of all, it’s Veronica Lake’s final movie (it was released in 1970, and it was her first since her heyday in the forties). Second, the plot is this - an evil scientist (Lake) is conducting experiments to create a new race of Nazis to take over the world. The final scene is pretty astonishing. It’s terrible, but for pure campiness, it’s a must-see! Also, there’s **Satan’s Cheerleaders** , from 1977. It stars such old pros as John Carradine and Yvonne DeCarlo. ---

“The Last American Virgin” - great soundtrtack, bad acting. Look for a young Diane Franklin and Kimmy “Twin Peaks” Robertson. Great twist ending, too. ---
