# Can you actually get high from drinking BONG water?

Not that I would actually drink the stuff, but can you get high from drinking the nasty stuff in your bong after long usage? Will it make you sick? Does/Will BONG water actually get you high?

I think it would more likely make you sick than anything else. It’s mostly dissolved combustion byproducts and very little THC. And it _stinks_!

I’ve always been curious how water pipes actually worked, and why they were supposedly better than smoking your weed of choice (be it tobacco or otherwise) directly.

syjstr: Bong water is incredibly nasty stuff (I know; I accidentally tasted some one time, and it was all I could do to keep my cookies down), and I honestly doubt whether most people would be willing and/or able to keep the stuff down long enough to get high.
