I have actually eaten seagull, roasted on hot coals, without any post-meal discomfort and enjoying the culinary experience. Meat is meat, after thorough cooking, IME (maybe 20 different kinds of meat under my belt, incl. fox, crow, squirrel, larvae, viper etc.)

I put the quote marks on “Seagull” because it wasn’t a species – probably I should not have since it was grammatically unnecessary.
Also, in general, you can’t use bold or italics in the title of the thread, so quotation marks are an alternative way of showing emphasis.
