# Can you feel it? It’s like the intense buildup before the big explosion. “May you live in interesting times”, says the Old Chinese Curse, and well, the times certainly are interesting. I can’t shake the feeling like something bad is going to happen. Before America’s Tale is over, someone will do something either incredibly stupid or incredibly genius, and then, I think a possible second Civil War will happen. ---

**Can you feel it?** No. Between 1969 and 1973 some people seriously thought that Nixon was going to declare martial law and order antiwar protesters shot or put into concentration camps- Kent State would turn out to be just a prelude. Governor Reagan of California was threatening to send war protestors to the head of the draft pick so they could be court-martialed under military justice. The radical Left weren’t just spouting rhetoric when they talked about the Revolution- they thought the country was six months away from a civil war. When Nixon was brought down some people worried that rather than be impeached he’d start a nuclear war with the Soviet Union first. Our current political climate consists of mild grumbling by comparison. ---

Ooooooh! Some guy writes a story on his blog about how Big Brother is going to use the Internet to search our hard drives to find all the stuff we’ve illegally downloaded over the years. And Big Brother is so arrogant that they’re giving us _four month’s notice_ of their intentions! I guess there’s nothing left to do except to stock up on canned goods, build my bunker and burn all those mp3’s on to a DVD and do a full wipe of my hard drive before Armageddon. ---

I think the OP is on(to) something here. Think about it…the US has been poised to attck Iran for over a decade now. We are obviously moving towards a on world government…just look at how stable the EU and Eurozone have become. Sometime soon the Amero will finally be trotted out. It’s only a matter of time before The Truth™ about 911 AND the fake moon landings comes out, and it’s clear that the forces trying to hold back information on UFOs are starting to. Rumble. Soon, the whole GlobalWarming scam will come out, and I’ve heard dogs and cats might have been seen living together. Seems pretty grim… -XT ---

Oh, great. ISP’s policing data. This is going to be a hassle. Thing is, if they can do it, it’s probably the rational choice. But some of the users are going to just try to find ways around it, and it will make things so much more complex. I hate IP law. ---
