There is zero chance this kid received a phone call, and even less chance that anyone would go to the trouble of tracking down the user’s real life identity because of a few silly posts. Read the OP’s posts; this is just a kid behaving melodramatically. The thread in question is barely contentious as far as SDMB standards go. The same poster admits to being an actor and making up stories to prove a point. _If_ a phone call occurred, I strongly suggest the OP report the call to the police. There is no such thing as an untraceable call. There is, however, such a thing as filing a false police report. Don’t feed this kid’s ego or delusions. Encourage the OP to file a report and let the authorities respond to the “threat”. ---

Turns out my email address is in my profile and it consists of my full name. With that you can get my phone number, home address, and all kinds of stuff. The call really came as a surprise and was just a little frightening as well. But now that I’ve thought about it, I’m not mad. She probably thought it was poetic justice and a right funny prank, as well. She had a pretty voice, though… ---

Call the police. In a week or so, the authorities will have the name, address, and description of anyone who made a threatening call to you. Don’t waste another second embellishing your story, just dial the phone. ---

Do the right thing and seek help from the proper authorities. I had to go look up “trolling” on Google and now I know that you are accusing me of being deceitful and of deliberately trying to piss people off just for the fun of it. That is not what I have been doing. I have been advocating full exercise of the First Amendment. Relating to photography. Not advocating anything bad. But some people are such little Nazi’s that they can’t stand to be told that other people have rights and they aren’t allowed to be little dictators. ---

Oh and Troppus, I said I was an actor, but actors can have opinions too, and beliefs. Sometimes they can use their acting to do something good. So, call me a liar, but we were talking about true things. All that other stuff doesn’t even matter. ---
