# Can you help me identify this bug?

I found it in my apartment in NYC (Manhattan). It was happily walking across the bathroom floor.

A bit hard to tell, but it doesn’t look like a bedbug, my best guess is a [Spider beetle](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider_beetle).
These are harmless. Usually a stored product pest, but at worst, a minor nuisance. I wouldn’t get worked up about it.

After zooming in on that photo, its definitely a spider beetle.
