In the trailer a bunch of guys are stood roughly in a circle, each one holding a small firearm to the head of the person next to them. The room is pretty filthy and lit by a lightbulb which is shot out and at that point everyone fires or prepares to fire in the darkness. I think there is mention that one or all but one of the pistols is loaded with blanks, could be mistaken though.
Thats about it I’m afraid. I understand if I’m doomed to wonder what the film might have been, but I’ve had that scene stuck in my head ever since seeing the trailer.
I saw the trailer over a year ago. Hence my memory is vague but i don’t believe it was a british or american production.

It’s gotten a reasonably robust art-house release over the last few months. I saw it at a film festival in early summer. The first 20 minutes or so is kind of muddled, and the last ten minutes peters out pretty badly, but in between: hoo baby, talk about an intense, darkly thrilling ride. Recommended.
