# Can you listen to the Mamas and the Papas without getting squicked out?

Has McKenzie’s accusation been verified by anyone else? Or is she just someone so desperate to sell her book that she’d make up sensational lies?

Can’t give a cite, but her sister has said she doesn’t doubt it. Why on earth would she make that up?

To sell her book. To publicity-whore. Not that I doubt, or believe, her accusations, but you asked.

I love the music. I don’t think much of some of the choices they made in their personal lives (understatement of the year for John Phillips) and I’m really sorry that so many of them, and their families, went through hell to bring me that music. But I still love the music.
