If someone’s posts don’t bother you, but their signature really pisses you off, can you report them? ---

You can report any damn thing you like. The mods may or may not act on it, depending on whether it violates any rules, the phase of the moon, what kind of mood the responding mod happens to be in, political affiliations of reporter/reportee, bribes, outcome of recent sporting events, and a saving throw on 1d20. ---

The answer, **EmilyG** , is that if you think their signature violates a rule or guideline of the board (including the “don’t be a jerk” rule), then we’d encourage you to report it. If it pisses you off because it contains egregious grammar violations or you disagree with an opinion it states, then it’s probably better to either ignore it or start a Pit thread. ---

I had, at one time, a quote from Pterry as my sig (edited): _There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world **belongs** , however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What’s up with this glass? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don’t think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!_ A person who shall remain nameless took exception to this, thinking it was the height of Merkin arrogance and presumption.
