If this becomes a recurring problem for any poster, sig display can be turned off. I did this for years in a possibly naive attempt to save the hampsters. User CP -\> Under Settings & Options: Edit Options -\> Scroll down to “Thread Display Options” and uncheck “Show Signatures”. Then marvel at the inapplicable option settings. ---

I got some chocolates a couple of times. But that was years and years ago. The thing is, the people who tend to send us things don’t need to bribe us, as a general rule. And the people who should be greasing our palms (or chocolating our mouths) never seem to give us anything other than grief. ---

I never see anyone’s signature because I have that option disabled in my settings. It’s really easy and allows some people to choose to see sigs and others to choose not to. If only such a simple solution existed for something like, oh I don’t know, avatars? 😉 ---

Wasn’t the problem with _Regards, Shodan_ that it was not inserted as a signature, but as part of the message text - so you couldn’t switch it off? ---
