I have really enjoyed the Straight Dope…maybe I should print your response; doubt I will hear *I agree with everything you have said * here very often but I guess that is part of the charm, you think? Enjoy this approaching autumn in New England, especially if you may be adventuring away soon. My husband and I once took a driving tour of New England, Septemberish, in an old convertible he dearly loved. We both remember it as one of our best trips. Beautiful. I haven’t had an *autumn aura * here yet. It will hit me one day when I am least expecting it and I will remember this post

Ironically and sadly, I haven’t actually been to Vegas in a couple of years (no one to go with anymore), but I still do the CA casinos, so I guess that counts for something.
