# Can you snap your fingers?

I’m left handed. I can snap with my right hand but not my left, so I voted “non-dominant hand but not dominant hand.” This isn’t strictly true, though, because for a lot of activities, my right hand is actually dominant. I’m kind of selectively ambidextrous.

I can do the Vulcan salute easily with both hands.

I’m a lefty, and while I _can_ snap on my left hand, for preference, I tend to snap with my right.

When I’m being creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky, I easily snap with both hands simultaneously.

Also, why is this an _opinion_ thread?

Holy crap. I’ve lived my entire life thinking I was the only person in the world who could only snap their fingers on one hand but not the other.

I feel quite a bit less freakish now.

BTW, I’m right handed and can only snap the left, but I can snap both the ring and middle finger.
