It’s simple either way.

But that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily easy for everybody.

People tend to conflate simple with easy, too.

The puzzle kinda reminds me of this one:

zero = 2  
too few = 3  
average = 5  
many = 1  
infinity = 0

I disagree:

Number of holes in letters (or number of letters with holes). r and n have rounded bits. e has a straight bit, so it can’t be letters without a straight line.
