Or of you’re on an Android phone, long-click the photo (hold your finger down on it) until a pop-up menu appears. One of the options will allow you to save the pic directly to your phone.

Indeed my concern was knowing if my cat can climb out. In theory, the stairs at the pool corner should be enough if she thinks to stand up on the first step, but I do not know if she will think about that.

I went into the pool and gently lowered the cat a couple feet from the edge with the stairs and she swam for a couple of seconds and climbed out. All in all, it seemed much less traumatic for her than her monthly baths.
