When I was in that age group, I knew several guys with shaved heads. All of them except one did fine with women - if anything, slightly better than average. The other one was pretty annoying, so I figure that had more to do with his low success rate than the shaved head. ---

Good god, yes! I’m a white guy, age 35 and I’ve been shaving my head for about 11 years. It’s just another feature; some women love it, some don’t care for it. ---

My thoughts: (1) I never really thought about it until **Typo Negative** brought it up, but yes, bald guys tend to look better when they have some facial hair. (2) I also agree that personality is going to make or break your attractiveness a lot more than a bald head. (3) Now, to actually buckle down and answer your question: You said you’re a skinny, paler guy. As a 28-year old straight woman, I would say no, a bald head does not look good on pale, skinny guys. I think the baldness essentially makes the man look unhealthy, which is not attractive. If a guy is muscular, then it’s a different story, as I often attribute their shaved head to shaving so that their hair doesn’t get in the way when they lift weights. In other words, I only liked shaved heads on muscular guys. ---

So you only like jack the jock so to speak, while I am skinny, I do work out and am very toned, but all the guys in my family are just small built guys, if I take my shirt off I look like Im jacked but only because of how small my overall frame is. and I can’t do anything about the skin, even tanning just makes it red and then white again. and also I kno of no one ho shaves the head just so it doesnt get caught in weights haha ---

Looks really aren’t the first step to attracting women. Attitude is. Sure, there are some model-handsome men who attract women even if they’re goons, but unless you’re one of those, we can skip this issue. (Even then, I’ve known a number of men that I’m sure would have been very attractive to many women, but weren’t, due to their personalities, their behavior. Like a guy who tried too hard to be funny all the time. Whenever he shut up, he looked great. And then he’d try to be funny and spoil it.) I’ve known a lot of men who were serious women-magnets despite looking perfectly ordinary at best. We guys have it a lot easier than women! Men obsess over looks far more than women do. According to the people who study this stuff, women tend to focus most on status. Status is hard to define, though, and means very different things to different women, such as money, power, leadership, or ability in sports, arts, or intellect. Or a zillion other things. Find what you’re good at and do that! Find stuff you’re not good at but enjoy and get better! To guys like me and possibly you who aren’t natural chick magnets, the best way to meet women is doing things, not going to meat markets. Consider volunteering for something. I work at a desk, so I enjoy swinging a hammer, and I volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. I’m old and happily married so not looking, but even at that (where the guy/gal ratio is pretty high) I’ve met a surprising number of interesting, attractive women (and done nothing about it, of course.) Your odds might be better at a charity that gathers food for the poor. Plus it’s worthwhile in itself! Final tip: don’t try to meet women, try to meet people. The more people you interact with on a personal level, the more likely you are to find a good fit. Be open to friendships, because friends have friends. ---

I totally agree. He does NOT need to compensate for a bald head. A _lot_ of girls and women love a man with a shaved head. A lot. Not just a few or a small minority, a sizable percentage, IME. ---

To your main question, yes, a good number of women can find it attractive if it’s handled right.
