I’m an american that will be going to canada for a few months. I will be opening a bank account there as well. I would be wanting to purchase some things from ebay. Would i need to create a ebay account in canada for this? I have an american ebay account.

I see there is ebay.ca for canada.

No. You’ll just need to add your new shipping information.

I know you didn’t ask and you might already know, but remember that Canada is a foreign country. If you have sufficient balance in your Canadian bank accounts and are a US national, then there is a severe penalty for failure to file [Form TDF 90-22.1](http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f90221.pdf).

I know it sounds silly, but so many people get into trouble forgetting this fact.
