# Canada to move to plastic banknotes

I think that’s compensated for by all the space stuff on the back. 🙂

I got a new $5 bill the other day. I agree that it’s more difficult to “Spock” the Laurier, but the space stuff on the back is pretty cool.

Hey man, I just got a paper $5 at the LCBO on the weekend. I even commented on it with the cashier as in “Man, I thought all of these were destroyed by now.”

They’re (paper) still around but fading fast.
