Canada's US Dairy Tariff

But here in the southern stretches of Canada I’ve never paid more that $4.90 Can, for two litres. Whereas in the far northern territories like Yukon the price of milk is extremely high.

Thing is, most people live in the south, while the far north is only scarcely populated. So your numbers are way off. By every measure, in my experience. Like laughably inaccurate.

I’d love to see a cite for the average price of milk in Canada being $6.23 US (=$8.30 Can), if you don’t mind.

Just read 2013-18, average price litre of milk in Canada $2.49 Canadian dollars, ($1.87 US)

Loblaw’s 2% milk $4.35 CDN for 4l. I think that works out to $3.27 USD for 1.05 US gallons.

You can buy stupidly expensive stuff I suppose - PC Organic Homogenized 4l comes in at over $10 CDN.
