> No, it wasn’t ‘Kink’. I can’t remember the name of the show, but it is apparently a roving show showing the sexual life of various cities, and this week it was focusing on Vancouver.

Last Friday evening they had a fellow visit Cape Town to receive a prostate massage. And folks wonder why I don’t subscribe to cable TV.

Ah, yes, “Naked Fridays.” It’s not even limited to soft-core porn - if the show is “educational”, they show the whole deal - penetration, hard penii, the works. Sorta makes one little boobie being shown at a football game no big deal.

> TVO (Ontario’s public television) recently had a kid’s educational show that demonstrated how to shave a dogs balls. Ne shitteth vous pas.

Wow, Sesame Street really _is_ different in other countries.

Seriously, a _kid’s educational show?_ Seems like shaving the family pet’s nards is something you don’t want to encourage in kids. What show was this, and was it a puppet doing it?

I don’t know what the name of the show was. It was on TVO, which is Ontario’s public television. The show had teenagers trying different jobs. One girl accompanied a vet, who explained to her that “bitch” was not a swear word, and then had the girl assist her in neutering a large male dog. That’s where the shots of shaving of the dog’s balls came in. After shaving, the actual cutting was edited out, and the scene concluded with the girl holding the cut out testacles by forceps.

It makes perfectly good sense as educational TV, for that is part of what vets do, but as a male, it made me want to run screaming out of the room, and I dread to imagine the pillow talk the girl will have when she gets a boyfriend.

Come to think of it, I am beginning to see why I don’t watch much TV.

I don’t have cable, for the odd time I watch cable TV (such as when I stay in a motel on my monthly road trip), I see such wonders as a fellow having a therapist shove a finger up his butt (which he did not seem to enjoy at all) and ordering him to ejaculate, and when I watch broadcast TV (the only channel I pick up is TVO), I see a young lady learning how to chop off nads.

It’s enough to send a fellow quivering into seclusion.

I would like to watch a nice couple explicitly having gentle, caring sex, honestly I would, but I’m getting more than a little scared to turn on the boob tube. A fellow shouldn’t have to wear a helmet and protective cup just to watch TV.

I’m still baffled.

1. What the dickens was he thinking? Putting Mr. Happy and the boys at risk of frostbite?

2. “We all do it” In what alternate universe Canada is this a common pastime in the winter? 😕 😕 😕

Give me curling any day.

What do you mean? It’s nearly as wide-spread a tradition as maple syrup bathing in the fall.

Well, you can’t argue with what a maple syrup bath does for your skin.

That sounds like a fun tradition. Because someone has to lick off the syrup, right? 😃
