I was looking for light comedy, and an Amazon search led me to [Corner Gas](https://www.amazon.com/Ruby-Reborn/dp/B07KWJ2W9G), a series about a gas station in Saskatchewan. It has a huge fanbase in Canada, and though I haven’t found it as funny as the reviews suggest, there are always a fair number of chuckles per episode. My only problem is that a few of the actresses are so lovely that I stop paying attention to the show. Instead, I think about moving to Saskatchewan. Has anyone else watched _Corner Gas_ or its lower-brow sibling, _Letterkenny_? I did a quick search, and I couldn’t find any other threads on the topic. ---

I watched a number of them, a cousin has a bit part. Mildly funny and rather good, I must say. ---

Ive watched a lot of them on youtube and enjoy it but wish I could watch on a better platform for free as I got mixed up in the order of shows. I love the Radar looking sidekick but the dad cracks me up well all of them do. Good show for a clean show ya know? ( it’s no Letterkenny but will do). ---

For those who don’t know, there’s also a full-length feature film \*\*AND \*\*an animated series. Unfortunately, Janet Wright (“Emma Leroy”) is no longer with us, but her character is now voiced very well by Corrine Koslo. > **[Corner Gas Animated](https://www.cornergas.com/)** > > Corner Gas is Canada’s #1 comedy franchise. It’s actually a just a documentary about life in small-town Saskatchewan. ---

Sadly, Mike O’Brian, who played Wes Humboldt, has also died, from cancer, leaving his wife and small son. He was a good writer, sympathetic to the people he wrote about. One of his best pieces was “Christmas Eve in Docket Court”, an article about the people who found themselves in the local docket court just before Christmas. Analytical, sympathetic, wry humour, it was all there. RIP, Mike/Wes.
