Canadians - are you (newly) boycotting US products?

Actually, my solidarity is more towards those with cannabis related convictions. The one guy I know who had a DUI long ago and was subsequently turned away from entering Canada via an airport there was attempting his visit to Canada on the invitation of a national music organization that wanted to present him with an award.

But I don’t think you are interested in such details.

You brought up the DUI thing and no, I’m not interested in the details.

I know people who have DUIs on their records, only a few of them are what I’d call “drunk drivers”.

To answer the OP: no, I think free trade is important and it’s also important to maintain good relations with our neighbours.

Well regardless, most countries can and may bar entry if you have a criminal conviction. It’s more a matter of how hard they check.

I’m not boycotting, but in a choice between Canadian, US, and other I’ll choose Canadian, then other before US.

Same here. It’s been ages since I bought a California wine or Kentucky bourbon, and I see no need to get them now.

I think the only American good that I regularly consume is the Racing Form, because there is no alternative to that. I’m not about to give that up, but it’s not very expensive anyway.
