It would also be nice if this board wasn’t overrun with group think where posters can slander 10s of millions of other fellow citizens as racists, bigots, Nazis, etc merely because of party affiliation. That sort of behavior happens all over this board and is rarely if ever shut down. Picking on the woke in the pit is at least a so-called safe space for now. ---

I think it’s pretty easy to repudiate the repugnant beliefs or actions of segments of your own party. I see liberals do it all the time – _far_ more often than conservatives, particularly in the last Presidency. What you’re (constantly, and in horribly disingenuous fashion) trying to do is get people to simply side with you in opposition to something they really don’t oppose – at least not on its surface, and not in all cases. And that’s ignoring for the moment the ridiculous false equivalence between the harm that _you think_ the “woke left” does and the real, profound, and lasting effects of the activities of “racists, bigots, Nazis, etc.” I _get_ that you’re trying to paint them as equivalent. It’s just asinine is all. ---
