# Candidates and voluntary disclosures

Trump is the first president in roughly 40 years to be elected without disclosing his tax returns. I have a feeling that this will change things in future elections–probably not all at once. I imagine that at least one candidate in 2020 will disclose his returns, but possibly not all the candidates.

Any thoughts?
