Did they change the recipe this year, or have they always tasted a little like burnt marshmallow? This vexes me. Perhaps I am having a stroke. For the fist time in quite a while I am excited for Halloween this year. ---

I think they change the recipe every year - either that or I buy a different brand every year. By the way, ^5 on the ‘vexed’. It is absolutely my favorite pet word for any situation just beyond mildly annoying and just under absolutely furious. Halloween is going to be a big deal in my family this year. My DIL is making she, my son, their baby boy and myself Harry Potter character costumes to wear. Good times! ---

they are making more flavors…I never knew they were made from honey I like the pumpkins…more tasty and creamy ---

Knowing how difficult it is to launch a successful new product and how many people have to sign off on it, how many dozens of people were asleep at the wheel when Circus Peanuts were ok’ed and sent to production? We ought to have a poll to see if anyone, anywhere, actually eats those doorstops with any kind of pleasure. ---

Shoot me.😃 The thing I’m really craving right now is those egg things they sell at Easter that have a soft but not gooey inside but a hard candy (NOT CHOCOLATE. They are not Cadbury Cream Eggs…I know the difference) shell on the outside that we used to have all the time when we had Easter Egg hunts in elementary school. \*edit–I found what they are. My sister gave me some Starburst candy corn. I was hoping for candy corn-shaped Starbursts, but it was just fruit flavored candy corn, with the same icky texture. ---

Did you know Jelly Belly makes candy corn? It’s so good. I should go get some of that before Halloween’s over and it’s all gone. I did get a bag of Brach’s candy corn (second best, but not bad) to make a white-chocolate-drizzled popcorn thing with candy corn and nuts and stuff. I haven’t tried any of it yet, but I hope it’s not too different from the usual. I saw a lot of “creative” flavored candy corn this year, like Smores. That really doesn’t sound appealing. Candy corn is like circus peanuts. It’s good in small amounts, but too much can really make you sick. ---

I like Candy Corn. We usually buy Brachs. Its not something that I get except at Halloween. ---

Bought a bag of peanut butter cup flavored candy corn last week. Absolutely disgusting. Threw a handful in the back yard Saturday afternoon and the squirrels went ape collecting it. They even chased off a crow that flew in to see what was happening. I was going to toss another handful yesterday but my wife had thrown them in the trash.
