I’ve experienced this problem on more than one computer - I can’t get any Quicktime movies to load from within a website. All I get is a big Q with a question mark where the movie is supposed to run on the page. I’ve installed Quicktime anew, but it still doesn’t recognize in-line movies on a web page.

I set my browser security to low, allowed pop-ups and the like and it still won’t run. Any suggestions? I can access Quicktime settings on the toolbar, and everything there seems set as well - movies are supposed to automatically run.

What version of Quicktime? Most recent Quicktime movies require the latest version to run, which is 7.1.x or something close to it. When it can’t run, the question mark comes up.

I’d download Quicktime Alternative. 'Much less bloated than Apple’s original & doesn’t constantly prompt you to ‘upgrade’…
