IMO, Reese and Hamm are unequivocally beautiful women. To me, they’re REAL lookers and never, ever look even plain. However, I can understand that athleticism may be a mild turnoff for some men.

I missed Three’s Company the first go around, and could never figure out what people saw in her.

I’d like to point out a trend that I’m spotting: Many of the women whom have been declaired “beautiful” but are found not to be by the dopers here have ordinary to plain to ugly faces, but killer bodies.
I’m talking about the Sarah Jessica Parkers, the Sandra Burnharts, Chloe Sev., Anna, etc. And I find myself thinking that I find them most attractive when they’re wearing things that \ distract me from noticing their faces.
So, to this list, I’ll add Shannon Elizabeth and Hillary Swank.

The best example I can think of is Alanis Morrisette, sometimes she looks angelically beautiful, other times like she feel out of a car…or should have.
I know I’m supposed to find Sarah Michelle Gellar hot, but she’s just sooooo plain. Same with Jennifer Love Hewitt–used to drool over her, now she’s just another boring face…still killer body, tho.
There are so many people in movies, but more significantly tv, that all look alike. The faces vary subtly and are good looking, but all the bodies are the same. I’m thinking of how many sitcoms while the figures are attractive, there’s no difference, just stick a different head on the neck.

On the other hand, athleticism can be a real turn-on for the rest of us. I agree – I think Mia Hamm is flat out beautiful. And her athletic ability makes her moreso. I’m not sure what does it for me more – her looks or her resting heart rate.
The one that fits the “is she or isn’t she” category for me is Julia Roberts. Sometimes she looks amazing, other times she looks just wierd.

The first name that came to mind was Ellen Barkin. Sometimes she looks plain, but at other times (Like in The Big Easy), she’s really hot.
I’ll agree with the opinion that Sarah Jessica Parker USED to look really cute.

**Mark Wahlberg** …He makes my heart go pitter-patter. It’s that combination of boyish face and magnificent body. And he has a dangerous edge that I find verra masculine and sexy. Plus, he has rhythm. I love a man who can dance.
**Brad Pitt** …usually does NOTHING for me, but I must admit in _Legends of the Fall_ he was quite dashing. Might have been the long hair.
**Russell Crowe** …he’s got beady eyes and a thin mouth. Sometimes he looks good, other times he just looks seedy.

Oops, forgot the obvious: **Nicole Kidman** - You know, she’s got little teeth. I think bigger teeth would make her more attractive. Sometimes I look at her and think, “What did Tom Cruise see in her?” and other times I think, “What did SHE see in Tom Cruise?”
