# Can't decide if they're attractive or not...

Matt Damon. In Good Will Hunting his face looked like his features hadn’t all quite settled into place yet. By Rounders he’d started to age into his face a little and by The Talented Mr Ripley it was clear he’d gotten his new face and given the old one to Hilary Swank to wear while in drag for Boys Don’t Cry. Hilary has a set of choppers on her that makes me believe she dams rivers in her spare time, but if she isn’t wearing a huge goofy grin I think she’s very pretty.
Jude Law is so beautiful it hurts to look at him sometimes. Does that count?
Brad Pitt always kinda struck me as a run of the mill attractive guy until I saw him in the ad campaign for Meet Joe Black. There was something about him in a tuxedo that just made me go, “Oh, I get it now.”

Cathrine Zeta-Jones. She was way hot in that stupid-ass movie with Sean Connery (at least in the cat-suit scene).
But lately, about half the time (I think because of the lighting), she’s looking like she’s in bad need of a trip to the electrolysist for that upper lip…

For me, the best example of “can’t decide if attractive or not” is **[Fairuza Balk](http://www.fairuzasfansite.com/)**. Sometimes she looks smashing, other times she just looks odd.
The French have a name for this phenomenon: _jolie laide_.

Female perspective here: sometime they look really beautiful (e.g. when they smile) but when they are out on the court, with those biceps and that look of concentration on their face, I think they look very…daunting.
Which brings up another completely shallow question: Did Serena get a boob job or do you think she is just waaaay more endowed than her genetically similar sister?

I think she looks great. Not conventially good-looking,
but she’s sexy as all get-out.
