Dude, you saw some bad shows 10 years ago, and this is at least the second time I’ve seen you slam their live show after someone else has praised it here. You speak poorly of the band’s live performance even though it’s been a decade since you saw them, and I’ve never seen you caveat your statements with “…but it’s been a while since I’ve seen them, maybe they’ve improved” or anything like that. How is that not continuing to slam their live performance? What part of that was misleading?
Right, and my point was that your opinion seems to be based on outdated information. Am I not allowed to question your opinion just because it’s dissenting?
Actually, you made it sound that way when you said, “The couple of times I saw them … they bored me to tears.” I used your language.
I suggested that your criticism might be currently baseless, and I asked you for the information that might correct me. It can be surprising to find out that a show (or shows) you remember like it was just last week in fact happened many years ago – I know I was surprised when I looked up the release date of Are You With Me, because I had no idea I’d been a fan for so long. But instead of answering my straightforward question, you got way defensive. It’s just a band, man.
Lighten up, Francis. 
Their name came from a line in a Sam Shepard play. So maybe that’s the problem: you checked them out under false pretences.
