# Can't get Outlook Favorites Folders to work

Every time I restart outlook, it clears the folders out of the favorites pane.

I’m using Outlook on Windows XP. I know how to add folders to the favorites pane. I either drag them in, or right click on the folder that I want to add and select “add to favorites.” I do that and everything works fine.

But then, when I restart Outlook, the folders that I added are NOT in the favorites pane. They are still in the “all mail folders” pane, but not in the favorites pane. I’ve restarted the machine several times, re-added them several times, etc., but nothing seems to work. I’ve also googled for an answer but couldn’t find anything relevant.

Any suggestions?
