If I export Gmail contacts to a .csv file, the Last Name becomes the Display name, and I can’t see both names at the same time in Thunderbird. If I export to a .vcf file, I can’t see the phone numbers in Thunderbird. I’m out of ideas.

Anyone with experience know how to solve this?

Use the second export option (Outlook CSV format), and make sure when you import to check what fields in the CSV are mapped to what fields in Thunderbird. The import interface is a little clunky, so it might take a little trial and error to figure out how to match the fields up.

I see what you mean. Thanks. What a pain in the neck that was. Do you know if it’s possible to change the fields in the Thunderbird contacts?
