I haven’t seen any of that type either. The ones that I’ve seen sort of explain why it is that he IS being rather held up for 'sainthood" as it were.
As the many stars they’ve interviewed have said, it’s who he was, rather than his fame that made him so “important”. I wasn’t all that much a fan either, but then I’ve always found watching what are essentially the jocks and cheerleaders of the grown up world prattle on about nothing kind of boring.
But anyway…sorry went off on another track, even I can get behind the niceness and helpfulness he displayed toward young up and comers. A lot of people did get their starts through his show, and his infamous 'come over and sit on the couch" thing.
The tributes that I’ve seen so far have all focused more on this gentlemanly “NICE” side of Johnny.
