A well-known anecdote refers to a contest in which Canadians were asked to come up with the best ending to the phrase “As Canadian as…” The winning entry was “As Canadian as possible under the circumstances.” ---

Don’t believe any of this. It’s a cover story to explain why Canadians threw vast quantities of cheese into a lake, a reported and inescapable fact. as if anyone would eat waterlogged cheese! It was in reality an offering to cute little Son of Cthulhu, who will come to rule the world from his dwelling at New Rl’yeh at the bottom of Baie des Ha1 Ha! Those who laugh will be Eaten First. Look at what happened to those who laughed at the Tcho Tcho. ---

What it’s saying is that they’re trying again, but this time using a concrete platform attached to a stainless steel structure. The platform (on which the 800 kilograms of cheese will be placed) will be anchored at the bottom of the Saguenay, and will be checked using an untrasound source. The direction claims that this is a “scientific experiment”. It doesn’t say if they found a university or research lab to sponsor them. ---
