I am not looking for a monster sound system.

I want an all-in-one unit CD player with MP3 playback with a reasonably powerful built-in amp.

Ideally it would also:
Have a front aux jack (for when I finally get that iPod)
Not look like a freaking video game (ie don’t need or even want flashy faceplate graphics)
Cost less than $200

Mostly I listen to NPR on the radio. My musical tastes range, but are generally in the alternative rock bent (Fountains of Wayne, Barenaked Ladies, etc.). I am not looking to crank the volume, but want moderate volume and quality sound.

I’ve traipsed around the www, and haven’t found a site that seems reputable that has recently reviewed a good range of models. Any good car audio reviews sites out there? The few I have found are mostly geared toward people spending big $ on monster systems… not exactly helpful for me.

Thanks!
