Occurred in my “Current Stomping Ground”.
I saw the headline on CNN yesterday and didn’t even bother clicking on it. The headline didn’t give a location, just mentioned a chase of a stolen police car. I remember saying to myself “It’s probably California again”. Never even realized it was in my own back yard!
I dunno…I hear “Tokyo” and “stomping grounds”, the first thing that comes to mind for me is Godzilla.
Lancaster, CA would more likely involve run down homes and the remnants of a once thriving aerospace industry if I’m not mistaken.
Oh, and Joshua trees. Lots and lots of Joshua trees.
